Right now in Russia, wealthy hunters are waking bears from hibernation to shoot them for sport. Hundreds of cubs just a few weeks old are left motherless with little or no chance for survival. If the cubs are saved in time, they can be rehabilitated and taught how to survive on their own in protected forests.
